Technology 101 for Adults: Smartphones, Computers Laptops & Printers

When
-
Where
Library's Main Floor

Join Columbus Public Library staffers for a friendly introduction to the most basic technology functions that our patrons use every day. If time allows, we will cover computer skills such as turning the computer on, opening a file, opening an email account, attaching a document to an email, using a thumb drive, and printing a document. We will also discuss how to use your smartphone for web browsing and sending messages, and how to print documents from various sources.

We will be using the library’s five patron computers and five laptops on loan from the library system, so space on those is limited to the first ten who sign up.  We also encourage attendees to bring their own laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Registration for this workshop is required if you choose to use one of the library’s computers, and recommended if you are bringing your own device, since seating is limited. Sign up here.

For any questions, contact Catherine Brick at the library at 920-623-5910 or email her at catherine [at] columbuspubliclibrary.info. Event is free and open to the public.
