Our local history room contains:

- Fall River High School yearbooks dating from the 1950s to present day
- Plat maps for Columbia, Dodge and Dane Counties
- Historical records of Columbia, Dodge and Dane Counties
- Additional assorted records pertaining to the history of the area
Microfilm
Our machine allows patrons to view, save and print microfilm documents. We have a collection of microfilms to view including:
- The Columbus Democrat dating from 1868 to 1937
- The Weekly Journal from 1861 to 1864
- The Columbus Journal Republican dating from 1855 to 2002
- The Columbus Journal dating from 2002 to 2014
- Hillside Cemetery Records from 1987
- Census Records from 1905
- The Union Banner from 1862
Columbus Historical Society
The Columbus WI Area Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the past and keeping it alive for future generations by preserving, celebrating and sharing Columbus-area history.
