Winter Story Walk downtown all December!

Pages of the book The Story of Snow: The Science of Winter’s Wonder by Mark Cassino with Jon Nelson, Ph.D. will be featured in windows throughout downtown Columbus until New Year's Day. Maps are available at the library and participating businesses!

Take a stroll through downtown and learn a little about snow at the following locations: Columbus Area Senior Center, The Workshop, China King, H&R Block, Cardinal Embroidery, American Family, The Old Garage Barber Shop, Cardinal Comic, My Guest Room, Sharrow’s Downtown (Ludington and James Street windows), Farmers & Merchants Union Bank, and the Columbus Public Library.

Get to Know Your Gadget on Jan. 6!

Did you get a cool new device for the holidays? It's one thing to have that device and something completely differenet to know what to do with it. If you need help with your new (or not so new) e-reader, laptop, smartphone, or tablet, bring it along with you on Saturday, Jan. 6 from 10 AM to noon.

We'll have library staff and community volunteers here to give you hands-on assistance to configure settings, learn how to access e-books and other useful apps! Be sure to bring login info for existing email and device accounts. First come, first served. 

Beyond the Books
