Scammers can be very convincing. They will call, email, and send text messages, trying to get your hard-earned money or other sensitive information, like your Social Security number or bank account number(s).
Amanda Emery-Morris and and Samantha Petrie from the Farmers and Merchants Union Bank of Columbus will walk us through the procedure for identifying and dealing with internet scammers. They will discuss potential scam red flags, what you should do if you think you have been scammed, and what to do if you have authorized a scammer to access your bank account.
There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
