Afternoon Book Club
2nd Monday of each month, 1-2pm at the Senior Center (125 N. Dickason Blvd.)
This monthly book club features current and classic fiction and nonfiction books. Suggestions for new book ideas are always welcome, so bring ideas from your own reading list, as well! Come join us for lively conversation, thought-provoking questions, inspiring topics, and sometimes just plain fun. For some of the featured books, the Senior Center will show the video later, if available. Books are available for checkout at the Senior Center and at the front desk of the library. All are welcome. Columbus/Fall River Senior Book Club
2nd Wednesday of the month, 2:30-3:30pm at the Meadows (101 Hometown Ave., Fall River)
This book club features audiobooks and large-print book formats. We will be reading current and classic fiction and some nonfiction, with later viewing of accompanying DVDs. The books are available at the residential facility and at the library. Open to residents of the facility, but the public is also welcome at both locations. Check calendar for more information regarding each month's book.

Columbus Area Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the memories and artifacts of Columbus and the surrounding communities. All are welcome!
Friends of the Library

3rd Thursday of the month, 7-8 pm at the Columbus Public Library
Monthly meeting of the Columbus Area Quilt Guild. The group’s main focus is sharing a new block each month with the idea that they will learn new things from each other. They also partner with a local nonprofit to make weighted blankets several times a year. Quilters of all skill levels are encourage to come.
2nd and 4th Saturday each month, 10am-2pm at the Library Annex (251 W James St.)
The Friends of the Library Book Store will open for people to come in and browse donated books, with the proceeds funding new projects at the library.
