Thursdays After School at the Library!

Every Thursday of the month, the Columbus Public Library has a program for school-aged children.

Kids creating Perler Bead art at the library's January 5th Crafternoon.Each Thursday after school program is from 3:30-4:30 pm in the library’s program room on the lower level of the library. A snack will be offered at each of the Thursday after school programs.

Check out what the library has to offer each month:

1st Thursday – Crafternoon – Ages 5 and up – Come craft with us! Each month there will be a different craft for the you to make at the library. Information about upcoming Crafternoon projects can be found on the library’s website and calendar.

2nd Thursday – LEGO Club – Ages 5 and up - Come play, build, and explore with LEGOs! We provide the LEGOs – you provide the creativity! Photos of each clubs LEGO creations will be displayed on the library’s Facebook page.

3rd Thursday – Pokémon Club- Ages 5 and up – Do you collect Pokémon cards? Come to the library and talk with fellow Pokémon fans about your favorite characters! We will have space for you to play the Pokémon card game and trade your cards.

4th Thursday – Inklings Writing Group – Grades 5-12 – Are you a writer? Want to get together with other tween and teens and nerd out about your ideas? Join us for a fun, casual writing group! We will talk about what we’re working on, share our work (if we want), and do writing exercises to get the creative juices flowing. Bring yourself, a notebook, and whatever stories you would like to share.

There will also be programs offered on those rare 5th Thursdays of the month when they do occur. Please watch our calendar and website for information about those programs.
