Are you wondering why we don't have a particular book series you like? Do you have ideas for fun teen activities at your library? Want to volunteer for your community? You need to join the Teen Advisory Board. Get in touch with Jenni, our youth services librarian, for details.
Teen Books to Movie Club
2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
Read the book, then gather at the library with friends to watch and discuss the movie based on it. Snacks will be provided!
Monday Madness
3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
Meet up at the library for a crazy fun time! Past Monday Madness events have included duct tape design, pumpkin carving, Minute to Win It games, and a pirate scavenger hunt.
Inklings Teen/Tween Writing Club
2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM
Get together with like-minded teens and tweens for a fun, casual writing club! We'll eat snacks, talk about what we're working on, share our work (if we want), and do writing exercises to get the creative juices flowing. No need to sign up ahead of time. Just bring yourself, a notebook, and a writing utensil.
Our Teen Space
Our teen space was designed by teens for teens! Stop by to study with friends, pick up the latest books and movies, enjoy free WiFi, or use the library's computers and printer. If you're feeling stuck with a school research project, our librarians will be happy to help you find resources that will get you started in the right direction.
