Check out our calendar for upcoming children's programs at the Columbus Public Library!
Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 AM
Storytime is recommended for children ages 2 and up. It consists of stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts that help you build early literacy skills with your little one. Storytime is best when shared, so we ask that caretakers stay with their child at all times.
Thursdays at 10:00 AM
Baby Storytime is for children ages 0-24 months, and consists of short books, songs, bounce rhymes, and fingerplays that help you build early literacy skills with your baby. Siblings and other children are welcome to attend.
2nd Thursday of the month at 3:30 PM
Come play, build, and explore with LEGOs at the library! We'll provide the LEGOs and after school snacks - you provide the creativity. Afterwards, photos of your LEGO creations will be displayed on our Facebook page.
Paws to Read
1st Thursday of the month at 5:00 PM
For children in first grade and up! Snuggle up with a book and a dog! Bring a book... to the library and spend some time reading to Honey the golden lab. Time slots are limited so registration is required for this program. Register by calling (920) 623-5926 or emailing our children's librarian Jenni.
Bookworms Tween Book Club
3rd Thursday of the month at 4:00 PM
Tweens (grades 3-6) are welcome to join us for a book discussion, snacks, and fun activities. We'll discuss a new book each month, so check out our calendar and stop by the Tween Zone to pick up a copy of this month's selection!
Inklings Teen/Tween Writing Club
4th Thursday of the month at 3:30 PM
Get together with like-minded teens and tweens for a fun, casual writing club! We'll eat snacks, talk about what we're working on, share our work (if we want), and do writing exercises to get the creative juices flowing. No need to sign up ahead of time. Just bring yourself, a notebook, and a writing utensil.
