Homesteading Group

When:
Thursday, February 21, 2013 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Where:
Lower level Columbus Public Library

I'm excited about this group!  It is for anyone who may be interested in:

Homesteading, Being as self-sufficient as possible, living a simple life, Organic gardening (vegetables, herbs, fruit, flowers), Raising organic and/or grass-fed animals (chickens, cows, bees, sheep, dairy goats, etc), cooking from scratch, canning, drying and preserving your food, making your own soap, renewable energy, anything else that makes you feel like you should have lived 100 years ago.

This group can meet monthly to share ideas, experience and knowledge.

Meetings would have a skill-share or guest speaker along with time to talk about what is happening on our homesteads.  Well behaved children are welcome since homesteading is a family affair.

Preppers are welcome but that is not the focus of this group.  It is more about living a simple life using old-fashioned skills.

Call us and let us know you are coming.. at 920-623-5910
This will not always be held at the library and is not sponsored by the library...but we want to shout it out for all who may be interested! See you at the first meeting!
