Are you an awesome people person? Work here!

This is a great place to work! People ask us all the time if we're hiring. Usually we aren't, but now we are!

Do you regularly practice random acts of kindness? Are you a reader? Does playing with a new tech device sound like fun to you? Is your schedule pretty flexible? Do you often find yourself starting sentences with "Wouldn't it be cool if . . .?" Does 28 hours of work each week sound just about right?

If you answered "YES" to at least a couple of those questions, we want to hear from you. Especially if these sound like things you want to do on a regular basis:

  • Help other programming staff brainstorm, plan and put on a wide variety of programs for adults, children and families including the Root for Columbus Action Potlucks and projects.
  • Work with all kinds of people, from a wide range of ages and interests.
  • Engage with the community outside library walls by attending club meetings, community events, etc.
  • Participate in marketing efforts around all library programming, including print media, radio, library newsletter, library displays, library website and social media.

Ready to apply, check out the Help Wanted ad and Position Description for all the details. Or stop by the library for a printed packet. Questions? Please contact Cindy Fesemyer, Library Director, at 920-623-5910 or cindy@columbuspubliclibrary.info.
